How we handle your information
This notice covers Planeir's invite-only consumer financial-education MVP for adults. Planeir is operated by Gerry Boylan in Ireland. Contact hello@planeir.ie.
What we collect
Information used in your private test session
We collect the information you choose to type or say, finalized voice transcripts, planning facts and goals, generated illustrations, consent and acknowledgement records, and limited security and operational information. Do not provide PPS numbers, passwords, PINs, complete bank-account, IBAN or card details, exact addresses, identity-document information, or unnecessary information about another person.
Why we use it
Providing and protecting the MVP
We process session information to provide the service you request under the Terms of Use. Optional microphone processing is based on your consent. We use limited operational information for our legitimate interests in securing the service, preventing misuse, controlling provider costs and testing reliability. We may also process information where required by law.
Service providers
Cloudflare and OpenAI
Cloudflare provides hosting, database and application infrastructure. If you enable voice, OpenAI processes audio for transcription, realtime AI conversation and generated speech. These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area using applicable contractual safeguards. Email us if you want more information about those safeguards.
Optional voice
You can always use text
Voice never starts automatically. The first time you start each voice mode, we explain the processing and ask for separate consent. Short recordings are sent to OpenAI only after you deliberately record them. Live voice streams microphone audio to OpenAI while the meeting is active and processes finalized spoken turns automatically.
Planeir does not intentionally store raw audio or partial transcripts. Finalized Live voice transcripts and related planning information are stored encrypted with your session. You may end voice or withdraw voice consent at any time; this stops future processing but cannot undo processing already completed.
Retention and deletion
Seven-day sessions
Your planning session expires after seven days. You can delete it sooner using Delete my session. Deletion removes the linkable planning session, including its stored conversation, profile, transcripts and results.
Minimized testing signals
Reliability information
We may keep pseudonymous, categorical call signals for up to 30 days, such as whether a session connected or completed, its duration, turn count and a broad failure category. These signals do not contain answers, transcripts or raw failure reasons and follow a separate deletion schedule. Unlinkable anti-abuse counts and aggregate provider-cost totals may also remain.
Your rights
Contact us
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email hello@planeir.ie. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
